The Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit 2023 holds in London on Thursday 5th October 2023.
The theme for this year’s summit is: Renew Nigeria, Renew Africa 2023.
The summit marks ten years of mobilising investments into Nigeria and Africa in general and aims to explore opportunities for international and Diaspora investors to contribute to the development of Nigeria and the African continent. To facilitate this, the organisers have joined forces with Ethos Assets, who will be offering financial support for promising projects showcased at the summit.

The summit will be chaired by Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom – H.E Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Ishola.
Head of Nigeria’s Civil Service - Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan, who is leading the Federal Government’s delegation to the event, will deliver the keynote address.
Other key speakers include the Executive Governor of Borno State – Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum; the former British Ambassador in Africa and Senior Trade Adviser on Africa in the Foreign and Commonwealth office - Tim Morris; the Chairman/CEO, Nigerian Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) - Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa; and the Pro-Chancellor of University of Lagos - Senator (Dr.) Lanre Tejuoso.
Organisers stated that “Permanent Secretaries, Directors-General of Federal agencies, and Chief Medical Directors from both public and private medical institutions have confirmed their attendance and we expect delegates from Lagos, Ebonyi and Kano States.”
Besides the presentations, there will be networking sessions to enable delegates connect in a B2B environment.
The summit takes place between 9am and 5pm in the Balmoral Hall of Holiday Inn & Conference Centre, Kensington High Street, London W8 5SP.
