The projects involve telecommunications, agriculture, public infrastructure (highway, bridge, and airport), health and housing. They will be presented by the relevant ministers before an audience of leading economic operators.
Yayi expressed his enthusiasm at participating alongside his Ghanaian, Ugandan, Rwandese, Liberian and Malawi counterparts in this exceptional forum. “After the success of the Paris Round Table, which has allowed us to collect almost 10 billion dollars intended to finance structural projects, we aim to develop business partnerships in order to fund and operate high-scale projects,” he said.
Prime Minister Lionel Zinsou underlined that “the Global African Investment Summit is a strategic and exceptional opportunity for Benin to showcase sound projects and to meet with worldwide investors”.
