Ayo Ni O Choir holds mega concert
A Mega Concert to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Choir of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Surulere Sub-Headquarters in Lagos, holds on Saturday 9 February 2013.
Tagged as Celebration in Canaan, the concert will feature the Ayo Ni O Choir Surulere who have been known over the years for their God-inspired music.
Also performing at the concert are Gospel musicians: Dr Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi, Pastor J Adelakun of the Ayewa fame, Tope Alabi, Midnight Crew and the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Praise Team. Also performing are the Mass Choir of the Celestial Church of Christ, Segun Jabi, Ola Johnson and Monique (a.k.a Oba Gbogbo Aiye).
The concert which is a collaboration between the Church's Choir - The Seraph Voices and Lagos State government-owned Radio Lagos, will start from 12 noon and will take place at Blue Roof, LTV 8, Agindingbi Road, Alausa, Ikeja.
Aside from the concert's eclectic line-up of performances, a Combo Pack containing a collection of the Choir's music on CDs and Videos in a single pack will be available for sale.
Tickets which are N1,000 per head can be obtained from Radio Lagos or from the Church.
The vision for the Choir was planted in 1971 with its current Choirmaster-General - Special Apostle Prophet Sunday Korode as the lone participant in a Sunday service in those early days. This metamorphosed into the birth of a group of willing singers in 1972, and the Choir over four decades has grown in leaps and bounds. The Church is headed by the Church General Leader - Special Apostle Prophet (Dr) Gabriel Fakeye.
