The Igbo Cultural Support Network (ICSN) UK is raising money for the Bishop Shanahan Hospital in Nsukka in Nigeria's Enugu State, where many victims were treated after the devastating Fulani herdsmen massacre last April. The disaster caused more than 40 deaths and destroyed the lives of many from the Nimbo community, Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.
As part of the fund-raising drive, ICSN held an Olympic Sports Day to raise funds to rebuild the community. All profits raised on the day came to a total of £430 and are going towards the cause, and the group are appealing for more assistance and help to reach their goal of £5,000 through their GoFundMe page.
