Southwark businessman Amadu Kanumansa, will be contesting the Faraday by-election on the platform of the All Peoples Party (APP) on 21 January 2016, fighting on a platform of equality at the top in the area.

Amadu has a Masters Degree in Economic and Social Planning having studied in Africa, Europe and the UK.
He has pledged to use his experiences to fight for more homes at social rent in Southwark for Faraday residents, proper scrutiny of Council policy, and to ensure that the Council recognises and celebrates diverse and talented people at the top, not just diversity.
Amadu said: “For far too long, the people of Faraday have had their interests neglected by Labour in Southwark. This must change. I will take your interests to the top of the table in Southwark Council.
“I will be the voice for our voiceless community. Together we can provide a future full of hope for our children.”

Amadu is currently a manager at a private car hire firm and volunteers his time by assisting with a South London food bank.
