MoneyGram - new low fees
MoneyGram International in partnership with one of Nigeria’s largest banks - Access Bank Plc has reminded its customers that its service is available on Saturdays and Public Holidays in Nigeria.
The extra opening hours which were introduced in July took off in 21 selected branches in Lagos, Edo, Imo, Kwara, Anambra, Oyo and Rivers States.
MoneyGram customers can pick up transactions on Saturdays and Public Holidays from 9am to 1pm but from 11am to 1pm on Saturdays when environmental sanitation exercises holds.
Seeing a large window of opportunity in this area, the management of Access Bank Plc broke away from the norm to open their doors for MoneyGram transactions on Saturday and Public Holidays.
It was estimated that over 10 millions Nigerian live outside the country. Many of these citizens send monies back to family and friends.
MoneyGram’s Marketing Executive for the Africa/Caribbean corridor in the UK, Ireland and The Nordics - Oluwaseyi Oke noted that “this is a welcome development for all our customers sending money to family and friends in Nigeria.”
