Ogun First Lady uplifts students

Students with the best results from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examinations across Ogun State were treated to a Leadership Training excursion to the United Kingdom.

The best student from each of the 20 Local Government areas the State won this trip which was awarded by Ogun State's First Lady - Mrs Olufunso Amosun as an initiative of her pet project - Uplift Development Foundation. Tagged Uplifting SSS3 Students, 19 students travelled to the UK as the 20th student could not be located.

On arrival in the United Kingdom, they paid a courtesy call on the Nigeria High Commissioner to the UK - Dr Dalhatu Sarki Tafida CFR. They attended a leadership training programme at Buckswood School in Hastings in Sussex. The students also visited the British Parliament among some other places.
