The Ogun State Governor - Senator Ibikunle Amosun has assured investors interested in locating their businesses in the State of bountiful returns as the government will continuously take steps necessary to create an enabling environment that would make their businesses thrive.
Speaking through the Commissioner for Special Duties - Chief Olu Odeyemi while commissioning a state-of-the-art photo studio and photographic equipment, Amosun emphasised that Industrialisation is one of the five cardinal programmes of his administration, pointing out that in the last 23 months, his government had taken landmark steps to attract investors into the State.
“We have provided a conducive environment for investors to thrive, roads are being constructed to enhance transportation and aid delivery of goods, power supply is being enhanced as we had recently distributed 500 transformers to different communities in the State also to among others things, help businesses grow,” he explained.
Amosun commended the owner of the studio for the initiative, saying its location close to the Ibara flyover is a good decision and urged other indigenes to emulate him.
Also speaking, the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Michael Aremu Gbadebo expressed joy that indigenes of the town were heeding his call to return home and establish their businesses in the town rather than doing same in bigger towns like Lagos and Ibadan. The monarch said doing this would help improve the socio-economic status of Egba-land and help the State Government realise its Mission to Rebuild in the nearest future.
Earlier in his remarks, owner of the studio, Alhaji Tajudeen Lemboye said the equipment being commissioned were the latest in the world of photography, adding that it would ease the stress of photographers who hitherto had to travel to other States to process their work.
