The 2013 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards ceremony was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria last Thursday. And the winners are:
Nigeria - CAF National Team
Nigeria U-17 - CAF National Youth Team
AL-Alhy - CAF Club of the Year
Nigerian Supporters - CAF Fair Play Award
Stephen Keshi - CAF Coach of the Year Award
Kelechi Ihenacho - CAF Most Promising Talent
Haimoudi Djamel - CAF Referee of the Year Award
Muhammed Aboutieika - CAF African Player of the Year (Based in Africa)
Yaya Toure - African Player of the Year Award
John Mikel Obi was the first runner-up while Didier Drogba was the second runner-up.
Yaya Toure now joins the likes of Samuel Eto'o and Abedi Pele as the only players who have won the award on three different occasions.
Meanwhile, Drogba remains the only player who has been nominated - for the award, for the most number of times.
