Theo Walcott
Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has revealed the return of Theo Walcott, who will available to play against Southampton in the Premier League clash this weekend.
Walcott, who had suffered an injury and undergone a minor abdominal surgery, is now fully recovered after spending two months out.
Hence, with the return to play of the very influential winger, Arsene Wenger believes his team may look ready to recover from the shocking defeat by Manchester United before the international break.
"Theo will be back for Saturday in the squad," Wenger told the club's official website.
"He's completely fit again. He has not played for a long time, of course, he has not played even a reserve team game, but I will put him in the squad on Saturday."
Moreover, Wenger stressed the importance of the England international's quality to the team at large.
He added: "Of course you miss a player like Theo Walcott.
"Strikers who get behind the defenders have a very important quality and Theo [Walcott] has that quality.
"Theo had a good start to the season, he scored goals, he provided chances and had assists.
"He can always give you a different option in the game and that is of course vital."
The French boss also differentiated Walcott's qualities from those of other players.
"You always want to have a perfect balance (in attack), and if you look at our results, our balance was not too bad, "But Theo has different qualities to other players and I am very pleased that he's back."
Perhaps, with the return of the 24-year old speedy forward, Arsenal might enjoy even greater victories. The Gunners have the chance to extend their lead at the summit of the Premier League with a win over the Saints at the weekend.
