Old Students Associations of Nigerian Secondary Schools in the United Kingdom under the umbrella of the Nigerian Schools Foundation (NSF) UK will hold their 6th Annual Sports & Family Fun Day on Bank Holiday, Sunday August 27th 2017 at Allianz Park Sports Arena, Greenlands Lane, Hendon, London NW4 1RL. This Ultra-modern, weatherproof venue is also home to the world famous Saracens Rugby Club.

The inaugural annual NSF Sports & Family Fun took place in London at the end of the Olympics in 2012. The event has grown to become a firm favourite in the Summer calendar of most Nigerians in the UK, getting bigger and better every year.
Last year’s event was attended by over 1500 people of different nationalities, ages and backgrounds. Various representatives of Nigerian ‘Old School Students Associations’ participated and competed in the different athletic and family fun events ranging from Relay Race, Tug of War, 100m, 200, Long Jump, amongst others. The event had live music entertainment, food and drink, exhibitions of variety of businesses and charities.
In 2014, it won the coveted NEA ‘Outstanding Event of the Year’ Award. This year’s event promises to be yet another huge success and will be opened by the Worshipful Mayor of Barnet.
The event seeks to promote the need to maintain the previous high educational standards of Nigerian Secondary Schools. In summary, it works to Connect Nigerians, Promote Awareness and Develop Communities. NSF(UK)currently comprises of 30+ UK-based Alumni Associations of Nigerian Schools.
Interested parties can place advertisements in the NSF Event Brochure 2017. Sponsorships are encouraged from Nigeria-based organisations that wish to attract investments from Nigerians in the Diaspora. Also, there is an opportunity for businesses/ organisations to display at Exhibition Stalls on the day. Other Nigerian School Alumni Associations are encouraged to join NSF(UK). The event will be streamed live to a global audience.
