Brazil international, Neymar, has hinted that he will return to action in Barcelona Joan Gamper Trophy pre-season clash against Leon on August 18.
The 22-year-old attacker fractured his back during the World Cup quarter-final victory over Colombia on July 4 - and he has since been off the pitch.
Now, after making good progress recovering, Neymar hopes to return to Barcelona for pre-season on August 5 before featuring in the annual Gamper game at Camp Nou.
"I'm slowly recovering from the injury. I'll get to Barcelona 100 per cent," he told reporters at a promotional event in Brazil.
"I want to have a good season and I'm looking forward to helping my team-mates get good results. I also want to contribute to the Brazil team.
"I'm confident of playing in the Gamper game on August 18."
Neymar is one of the trio expected to lead the Catalans attack next season.
