Laurent Blanc: We can go far if we avoid playing Barcelona now.
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Manager - Laurent Blanc believes his side can go far in the Champions League as long as they avoid playing Barcelona in the tournament's next round of 16.
PSG's recent victory over Olympiakos at the Parc des Princes, secured a place for them in the next round of 16 - even with a game to spar.
And Blanc, who wants to achieve more with the Ligue 1 team, hopes his side won't have to face Barca in the quarter-finals last season.
"Our main goal was to win our group and reach the knockout stages and I am satisfied what we have achieved this," the World Cup winner told reporters.
"Now we will have to await the draw for the round of 16 and we hope that we will not be paired with a great team like the one playing their home games in Catalunya [Barcelona].
"We can continue this adventure and go far if we avoid them for now. We are very ambitious, but I will not get carried away."
The draw for the round of 16 will take place at Nyon on December 16.
