In the words of Most Senior Apostle Adejare Oladele Oyewole: it is important for “mutual love to continue so that the world will be a better place for all.”
The Prince who was born into the royal family of Ado-Awaye Kingdom in Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State in Nigeria in February 1958; adds that: “We have to include life in faith and bring faith to life – we cannot do one without the other. As citizens of God’s kingdom, we must learn to share in all things with others. We must be courageous in living the Gospel so that our lights will be in a high place where it shines for all to see. This I have vowed to do, God helping me.”
This was the reflective message of Prince Oyewole as he celebrated his birthday anniversary.
Prince Adejare (‘Jare) attended Iseyin District Grammar School in Iseyin for his GCE O’ levels after completing his primary and modern school education in Ado-Awaye.
He attended Ejigbo Teachers Training College for his Grade II Teacher’s Certificate course. He was in the teaching profession from mid-1977 until he switched to the Banking profession in 1979. He then took an employment break in 1984 to study abroad in order to further his career in the Banking sector.
After completing his Stage 1 Banking Diploma course, Prince attended Middlesex University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Banking and Finance.
His other educational achievements include: Certificate in Management studies from Croydon College, London; Post Graduate Diploma in Building Surveying from South Bank University, London; and Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies from All Nations Bible College & School of Theological Studies in affiliation with Canada Christian College & School of Gratitude Theological Studies, Toronto.
Most Senior Apostle (MSA) Oyewole - as he is now referred to, in 2006 stepped into the leadership of the congregation that he now Pastors’ following the call to glory of his mentor – the Late Most Senior Apostle James Abiodun Ozigi – of blessed memory. He has worked with his late mentor since 1985. MSA Oyewole and his family have been members of Christ the Resurrection Church since the Church was started on Easter day in 1986.

MSA Oyewole has held various positions in the Church and Ecumenical bodies both locally, nationally and internationally. He was Assistant General Secretary of the Council of African and Caribbean Churches from 2008 - 2013, and its General Secretary from 2013 -l 2017. He was elected as a member of the Executive Committee (Ruling Body) of Churches Commission for Migrants in Europe (CCME) in 2008. He served two terms on this body from 2008 to 2014. He was elected as a member of the Central Committee (Governing Board) of Conference of European Churches (CEC) in 2009 where he served until 2013.
MSA Oyewole is the current Deputy General Secretary / Financial Secretary of the Unification Council of Cherubim and Seraphim Churches, Europe Chapter. He is also currently representing the Unification Council of C & S Churches as an Executive Committee member and Treasurer of Churches Commission for Migrants in Europe.
MSA Oyewole and Special Apostle Dr Richard Fasunloye, the General Secretary of the Unification Council have been selected by the Officers of the Council to lead discussions with the Community of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE) with headquarters in Vienna and Global Christian Forum with regards partnering with the International ecumenical bodies to “further our witnessing together.”
MSA Oyewole has devoted his time to the work of God at various levels for over a decade, travelling to all parts of the world to represent different ecumenical bodies. He was a delegate to the World Council of Churches 10th General Assembly that took place in Busan, South Korea in 2013.
MSA Oyewole has been married to Prophetess Stella Boyin Oyewole for over 33 years. They are blessed with three amiable boys and a grand-daughter.
