Police are appealing for the public to help them find a missing elderly woman from south London.
84-year-old Carol Ewemade from Greenwich, left her home address at about 08:30hrs on Monday, 14 February to see a friend in Peckham, however enquiries have established that she did not arrive.
Carol spoke to her daughter on the phone at about midday where she said she had gotten lost and had been advised by a member of the public to get on the 345 bus towards Walworth Road. Carol’s daughter has been unable to reach her since this phone call.

Enquiries suggest she was in the Norbury area in the early hours of the morning of Tuesday, 15 February.
Detective Sergeant Ben Cowen, from the South East area’s missing person unit, said: “We are very concerned for Carol’s welfare. This is extremely out of character for Carol and understandably her family are really worried.
“We are calling on the public to help us find Carol. Were you the kind member of public who told her what bus to get on? Maybe you were on the 345 bus yesterday afternoon and saw Carol if she got on? Any information you have could be vital to helping us find Carol, so please get in touch.”
Carol is described as a black woman, about 5ft2ins of medium to large build, with black braided hair with white in-braids. She was last seen wearing grey jogging bottoms, a dark green winter coat with no hood, a white head scarf covering hair and she was carrying a black strapped purse bag.
