Wizkid wows audience

Fine boy, no pimple Wizkid showed the UK what he was made of at the Wireless Festival recently. Performing alongside musical heavyweights Snoop Lion, Justin Timberlake and Trey Songz, the 'Holla at your boy' singer certainly held his own, drawing in crowds in their thousands.

The audience took to twitter in their droves to praise his efforts, and he received adulation from one very special fan indeed - his current beau, Tania Omotayo. She quickly took to her Twitter to express her pride tweeting: “So proud  of my love @wizkidayo!!!”

Her pride was certainly well-placed, as Wizkid's famously energetic performance rocked the stage and assured the people of Britain that Afrobeats is here to stay.

Homegrown Afrobeats sensation - Fuse ODG also graced the Wireless stage. The British-Ghananian rapper found fame with hits 'Azonto' and 'Antenna',  Antenna landing him  a well deserved number one spot on the iTunes World Chart this March. He is the first ever Ghanaian artist to achieve such a feat.
