A multimedia exhibition tagged Sounds of Africa, focusing on the different genres of music from across the African continent, takes place in London this week.
The brainchild of Documentary Photographer Michael Tubi a.k.a Michael Tubes, Sounds of Africa seeks to bring new audiences to experience the variety and richness of contemporary African Music, showcasing the best that the Continent has to offer.

Styles on display will include Afrobeat, Hi-Life, Fuji, Tcha Echo and Makosa and will feature the works of established and emerging contemporary performers including: Angelique Kidjo, Seun Kuti, Salawa Abeni, Hugh Masekela, Fatoumata Diawara, 2face, amongst many others.
The exhibitiion which takes place at the Menier Gallery, kicks off with a private viewing on Tuesday 25 August from 6pm to 9pm, and subsequent shows from Wednesday 26 to Friday 28 August - 11am to 6pm and on Saturday 29 August - 11am to 3pm.
