In spite of being under the weather, Femi was in magnificent form at his recent performance at the Royal Festival Hall, London, last weekend. He managed to garner all his strength to deliver probably one of his best concerts in the UK. The 12-piece band - Positive Force was tight, a masterclass of power with control.

He performed as part of the Meltdown Festival curated by Guy Garvey.
Femi performed old favourites like: "The world is changing" and some new songs from his forthcoming album. The audience were out for a good time, and Femi did not disappoint. The Royal Festival Hall was having a big Afrobeat party and most people were on their feet dancing to the beat, borrowing their moves from the 3 female dancers/backup singers who earlier in the day, had an Afrobeat Dance Masterclass in the Clore Ballroom.

No Anikulapo-Kuti concert would be complete without any Yabis. Femi did call President
Buhari to order about dissing Nigerians in agreeing with David Cameron that Nigeria is "fantastically corrupt." He also touched on other issues that had a global resonance.
