Dr. Oke said, “If the homes we live in started with someone having an idea of the sort of structure they wanted to put up, sourced for experts to turn the idea into plans and blueprints for a building, and then into beautiful homes, the same process must be applied to building our communities.”
“We must know how we want our communities to be and plan towards making it happen.”
She added that: “The family is the basis of a successful community, and mums who spend the most times with the children and are massive influencers should be encouraged and supported to carefully raise their wards to build the right attitudes.”
“Walk-like-a-Princess CIC supports the girls and women to build life skills that develop into right attitudes,” she concluded.
The Mayor of Dartford was delighted to know such initiatives started in Dartford and was supported by National Lottery Funds.
