It was also an opportunity for the young film maker to share her most recent work and story of Mr Mandela's life, via a centenary tribute, in a short 7 minute 'childlike' documentary.

She was given a private tour of President Nelson Mandela's last office after his retirement, the permanent exhibits on the former leader’s life, and the Foundation’s private archives on the President’s journey over the last 60 years - a treasure throve of irreplaceable documents, materials, writings and publications on the life of the South African and global peace icon.
