At 16 years old, this product of Wallington High School For Girls, Surrey is an inspiration to all students especially Black girls of African Origin.
In the 2013 GCSE examinations, she achieved an exceptional result: 13 A*s in Math, English Literature, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French, Japanese, Geography, Music, Religious Studies, Information Technology and Citizenship; and an A in Drama.
She is the younger sister of Abiola - the 2006 London School Black Child GCSE Awards Winner for Girls who achieved 8A*s and 2As) - also from Wallington High School For Girls.
Her other sister, - Yinka also from Wallington High School For Girls also recorded 12A*s and 2As in the 2010 GCSE results and is studying Engineering at Harvard.
Between the 3 siblings, they have recorded a total of 33A*s and 5As.
She currently volunteers at Kumon, teaching children Math and English. She is also part of several choirs (Emerald Schools Osiris Ensemble) and orchestras. At school, she was a frequent soloist and member of the Gospel Choir and Glee Club and participated in many plays. She also learns cello (grade 6), piano (grade 7) and singing (grade 8 – currently studying for her diploma) and has a grade 6 qualification in ballet.
She has also worked with National Youth Music Theatre and the West End Kids Company in the past. She has a strong interest in East Asian culture. This is shown through the KPOP blog that she runs - which was designed by her using HTML coding. She is also self-teaching Japanese and Korean.
She intends to study Medicine because she believes "every person deserves to have a good health and it would be my dream to contribute to humanity."
She’s currently studying for A Levels at the prestigious Westminster School, London.
