Walter Barasa
The High Court in Kenya has issued an arrest warrant for journalist Walter Barasa. The order was issued following an application by the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Justice Richard Mwongo issued the warrant earlier and Barasa, 41, will be handed over to the International Criminal Court (ICC) following his arrest. He is accused of offering bribes to prosecution witnesses with amounts up to $16,200 (£10,000) in the case against Deputy President William Ruto and Joshua Sang.
Barasa has denied all the allegations against him while accusing the ICC Prosecution of having a vendetta against him. If found guilty he could face up to five years in prison.
