Nigerians in UK condemn terrorist attack
The umbrella organisation of Nigerian associations in the United Kingdom - Central Association of Nigerians in the United Kingdom (CANUK) has dissociated Nigeria and Nigerians from the barbaric killing of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Chair - Chief Bimbo Folayan-Roberts asserted that Nigerians are peace lovers with respect for other peoples' rights.
Two British citizens with Nigerian roots - Michael Olumide Mujahid Adebolajo and Michael Oluwatobi Adebowale were arrested for the hacking of the British soldier in broad daylight.
Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan has also condemned the terror attack - even against the backdrop of terrorist activities in Nigeria by the Boko Haram sect.
