Martin Luther Agwai
Following the resignation of veteran broadcaster and corporate icon - Dr Christopher Kolade, Nigeria's President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the appointment of Martin Luther Agwai as the Chairman of the Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P).
In a release signed by Jonathan's Special Adviser (Media & Publicity) - Dr Reuben Abati, Mrs. Tanwa Olusi has also been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of SURE-P.
Other appointments approved by Jonathan are those of Mrs. Fidelia Njeze as the Special Adviser (NEPAD); Senator Suleiman M. Ajadi as the Special Adviser on the National Assembly (NASS); Mr. Sola Omole as Director-General (DG) of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA); Alhaji Ladan as the Director-General (DG) of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN); and Mr. Ima Niboro as the Managing Director (MD) of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
All the appointments are with immediate effect.
