Former Minister of External Affairs, Nigeria's Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Under-Secretary General of the United Nations - Prof. Ibrahim Gambari has been appointed as the pioneer Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete.
In a statement issued by the University, the appointment was made by the Kwara State government.
The University's Vice Chancellor - Prof. AbdulRasheed Na'Allah said the appointment was in line with its quest to attain a world class status.
