Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes is underwhelmed by the progress of the Old Trafford club under Louis van Gaal.

Despite acquiring superstars such as Angel Di Maria and Ramadel Falcao, van Gaal's team currently sit 10th in the Premier League - registering just 13 points from their opening 10 games.
Scholes is not impressed by the Dutch manager's tactics, as he believes United should have made a good start to the season.
“Louis van Gaal talks about progress. I expected United to have a better record by this stage of the season,” Scholes wrote in his column for The Independent.
“It is difficult to figure out what Van Gaal is thinking during games. His demeanour doesn’t change throughout. He looks a bit subdued.
“Certainly, he appears very different to the man you saw on the touchline at the World Cup.”
United will look to turn things around when they host Crystal Palace in the League on Saturday.
