Police detectives from the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham investigating a robbery have issued still CCTV images of two men they wish to identify and speak to in connection with the incident.
On Monday, 2 May police were called at around 17:20hrs to a report of a robbery outside McDonalds restaurant in East Street, Barking.
The victim, a man in his late 30s, was walking past the entrance to McDonalds, pushing his child in a pram, when two teenagers ran out of the restaurant and into the pram, nearly knocking it over. The father spoke to the teenagers and one of them pushed him.
The man retaliated by slapping one of the teenagers but was then punched to the floor. As the victim took out his phone to call police, one of the males took the phone off him and ran off down the street.

The suspects captured by the CCTV released by officers are described as:
'Suspect 1' - a black male of slim build, aged in his teens. He was wearing a dark black hooded top, dark trousers and white trainers.
'Suspect 2' - a black male of slim build, aged in his teens. He was wearing a black jacket over a dark grey hooded top, dark blue tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the legs and black and white trainers.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the two males or who witnessed the incident.
