Alison says “Listen up guys - it’s the final countdown to the FCA’s PPI deadline and I want the nation to know it’s their last chance to make a decision about whether or not to claim back money for PPI. Now don’t mess around, people have until 11.59pm on the 29 August 2019 to make a complaint to their provider, so do it now!
“You might not realise you had a product that had PPI attached, but it could be a loan, mortgage, credit card or store card - particularly if you had it between 1990 and 2010. If you’re unsure, check the FCA’s comprehensive list of providers at fca.org.uk/ppi to jog your memory and find contact details.”
In a bid to further support consumers, the FCA has also extended its PPI helpline 0800 101 8800 opening hours to 8pm on weeknights.
PPI deadline
Time is running out to claim back money for PPI. Simply put, if you haven’t complained to your provider by 29 August 2019, you won’t be able to claim money back for PPI – so you should make your decision now.
