Global parking platform - Parksy has launched a free AI tool designed to assist drivers in appealing parking fines.
The Parking Fine Appeal Calculator reads a parking ticket, checks it for valid grounds to appeal, and drafts a tailored appeal letter in minutes - across the UK, Australia, the US and more.
To use the service, drivers upload a photo of their ticket or Penalty Charge Notice (PCN). The AI reads the key details - reference number, vehicle, date, location, contravention and amount - then asks a few short questions about signage, payment machines and circumstances. It identifies the strongest legitimate grounds and writes a formal letter addressed to the correct authority.
The AI tool is also jurisdiction-aware: it is able to identify a London Local Authority or Transport for London (TfL) PCN apart from a private operator's charge and routes appeals accordingly (formal representations and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal / London Tribunals, or POPLA / IAS for private charges). It drafts internal-review requests for Australian infringements, contest letters for US citations, and adapts to many other countries.
It is free, needs no sign-up to start, and stores nothing - the photo is read once and never saved.
