The Nigerian Schools Foundation (NSF) UK, the forum for UK-based Alumni Associations of Nigerian Secondary Schools holds the 7th Annual Sports & Family Fun Day on Bank Holiday Sunday - 26th August 2018.
The event holds at the Allianz Park Sports Arena, Greenlands Lane, Hendon London, NW4 1RL.
The ultra-modern, weatherproof venue is home to the famous Saracens Rugby Club.
The event - #NSFUK2018 promises to be the biggest and best so far. It will be opened by the Worshipful Mayor of Barnet - Reuben Thompstone - and will comprise a whole day of activities in three main segments:
* A 2K & 5K fun run organised by Amaudo UK in collaboration with NSF UK from 10am to 12 noon.
* Family Fun Day sporting activities from 12 noon to 6pm.
* Evening Entertainment featuring exquisite Nigerian cuisine and drinks, DJ and live music from 6pm to 10pm.

The inaugural annual NSF (UK) Sports & Family Fun day took place in London at the end of the Olympics in 2012. The event has grown to become a firm favourite in the Summer calendar of most Nigerians in the UK, getting bigger and better every year. Attendance has grown over the years with the 2017 event hosting upwards of 2000 people of different nationalities, ages and backgrounds. Various representatives of Nigerian ‘Old School Students Associations’ participated and competed in the different athletic and family fun events ranging from the Principal’s Cup Football tournament, Relay Race, Tug of War, 100m, 200m, Long Jump, 4x100 m relays, amongst others. The event had live music entertainment, food and drinks, and an exhibition of variety of businesses and charities.
In 2014, the event won the coveted Nigerian Event Awards (NEA) ‘Outstanding Event of the Year’ Award.
NSF (UK) currently comprises of 44 UK-based Alumni Associations of Nigerian Schools. Other Nigerian School Alumni Associations are encouraged to join NSF (UK).
