Don Pedro Okojie started his media journey in Nigeria through the Music Panorama programme of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Benin.
After a three-time failure of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) exams, he pursued his musical dream as a singer but ended up being a salesman at Tabansi Records in other to get a recording contract. He turned artiste manager for Alex Zitto with the Tickle Me, Baby Walakolombo songs fame.

Don Pedro became an award winner of the Nigerian Music Awards 1992 as Best Artiste Manager of the Year, and in 1993, he bagged Nominee Promoter of the Year.
Don Pedro has managed or promoted, aside Alex Zitto, famous music artistes as: Mike Okri, Onyeka Onwenu, King Sunny Ade, Abass Akande Obesere, Sunny Neji, Evangelist Sonny Okosun, Papa Osita Osadebe, Peggy Umanah, among others.
After touring the USA for some years, he decided to reside there for a couple of years, and then moved to the UK in 1996.
He continued his career after obtaining a BA Hons in Digital Film & Video from the Southbank University, proceeding after that to obtain a Masters from the Westminster University in Music Business Management, and then capping these with Diplomas in Journalism and Counselling. He is also a Prince 2 qualified Project Manager.
While in the UK, he founded the first Nigerian Radio station called 9JA FM in 1999, and later joined BEN Television - anchoring the Breakfast Show. He started his own programme on BEN TV called the Don Pedro Show, which showcased Africans in Diaspora and at home.
Lately, he has been more frequent in Nigeria, producing and presenting TV programmes and documentaries among which are The Energy Oil & Gas programme on Channels TV and Local Content television programme on the NTA network international service. He has recently launched the Agric.TV programme and the People with Vision programmes. He has also ventured into real Estate business through Bishopgate Estate Agency Ltd to act as a bridge for Nigerians in Diaspora who may wish to rent or buy land or build their property in Nigeria.
Despite his successful exploits as a celebrity, humility has remained his watchword.
