Not one to shy away from taboo subjects, Candy currently hosts a weekly show: Kiki’s Chat Show, on GN Radio where she boldly discusses issues to empower and strengthen listeners especially women and youth, whilst educating men across the United Kingdom and the world at large. This is also broadcast live on Facebook so the messages reach a much wider audience. Often on the menu are poignant topics such as race, domestic violence, social justice and youth crime.
She also appears on GNTV UK’s current affairs programs, bringing her charismatic brand and approach to topical issues such as politics and female empowerment.
She is frequently asked if she is a feminist and when she asks people what the meaning of feminist is: they change the subject …
To keep the gender and race balance in check, she also hosts co-educational music and dance events that bring men and women from all walks of life to have fun and let their hair down. A percentage of proceeds go towards various charities in the UK and Ghana.
Candy Kisseih who hails from a long line of matriarchs from the Krobo Kingdom of Ghana, is a mother to two men and a social activist doing her bit to make life better for women, children and ultimately, society at large.
She is motivated by her motto: We must all strive to amount to something or someone in this life of ours.
