His career in Sports Journalism started as far back as 1993 in Nigeria whilst studying Civil Engineering at Federal University of Technology, Akure. He was the Chief Editor of the campus sports magazine, ‘FUTABALL’ (A weekly published football magazine). He also featured as a guest football analyst on Ondo State TV in 1994.
His passion for sports journalism grew after being advised by his mentor and father - Rev Tim Omotoso, to forge a career in the media sector in 2006. This inspired him to establish a sports magazine, a multimedia magazine and a TV Show, ‘TOSH Mag & TV’ which first aired on BEN Television in 2009 and was broadcast for 18 months to viewers across Europe via BSkyB and Sky Television and Africa via MyTV. It was scripted and produced by Shoggy and Femi Best Touch, and won over eight awards.

Shoggy won TV presenter of the Year 2012 at the Africa Gospel Music Awards in London and in 2010 at the BEFFTAs.
His new TV show to be released in 2017 is tagged, Superstars with Shoggy Tosh, with guests like Brazilian superstar, Roberto Carlos and Nigerian football international, John Utaka.
Shoggy Tosh contributes as a TV Sports analyst at Arise News in London, Vox Africa, TVC News, Channels TV - platforms on BSkyB and Sky Television, and on Lagos TV and Galaxy TV - both on DSTV platforms in Lagos, Nigeria.
He is the Publisher of The Official Stars Homepage Magazine, TV & PR (A free magazine published quarterly that covers sports, entertainment and musical events and personalities)
So far in his career, Shoggy has covered over 100 football matches at the FIFA World Cups, African Nations Cups, International friendly matches and athletics events at the Diamond Leagues.
