Originally from Ekiti State in Nigeria, since moving to the U.K, he has been promoting events and organising talent showcases since the 90's. He realised that there were not enough opportunities for African artists in the U.K, so has made a point of showcasing African talent at every opportunity, especially in the genre of Afro Beat. He feels music is a tool for bringing people together and building confidence in people and their community. His vision is to strive for greater unity for Africans in the Diaspora and on the Continent and to work with the youth to encourage higher achievement and promote greater recognition from both within our community and on a worldwide stage.
His new vocal renditions are an infusion of soulful African music, its Nigerian afro pop with deep creative articulation and warm vibrant tones. Deoba Authentic brings the Tropical fusion of Nigerian music together with British funk, house, garage and jungles it into the Afro pop beats with ease. In listening to his music, you start off hearing a sonorous soul vibe that spills into funk, rhythm and blues with jazzy back-tones hip-hop and reggae undertones and all of the aspects of music that make you want to move, groove, shake and sing along.
