Prince ESV (Dr) Victor Adekunle Alonge is a seasoned Chartered Surveyor, Estate Surveyor and Valuer, Business Manager and Transformational Entrepreneur with varied professional and managerial experience spanning over 3 decades in the real estate industry, covering assets and project management, development and investment consulting and advisory services to clients in industry, financial services, oil & gas, government institutions and parastatals.
He is currently the 26th President of Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers (NIESV).
He has held and continues to hold Board appointments including: Penman Pension Ltd (now Tangerine Pensions), Board of Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON), Institute of Directors and MRI Facilities Management Limited, amongst others. He is a Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD) accredited Independent Director. He holds the position of the new Independent Non-Executive Director to the Board of NGX Real Estate Limited.

He holds B.Sc. Estate Management from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Nigeria and the University of Reading, England. He also has MSc Degree in Property Asset Management from Herriot Watt University, Edinburgh Scotland. He also holds a Practitioner’s Certificate in Project Management and RICS/IMC Certificate in Management Consultancy.
He worked briefly with the London Borough of Ealing as a Valuation Officer before joining the professional firm of Willmotts Chartered Surveyors in London in 1999.
He headed the company’s Head Office as a General Practice Surveyor undertaking valuations, property development and consultancy works. His diligence, hard work and competence were duly recognized and rewarded by the company culminating in his rapid promotion and eventual elevation as an Executive Director of the over 169-year-old property professional services company in December 2003. With that elevation, he became the first black person to attain the full board position in the first-generation real estate consultancy firm which was established in 1856.
He managed the professional and investment services business, and in that role, handled the technical contents, management and delivery of a number of major valuation assignments, property development, management and investment property consultancy works in the U.K, Spain, Germany and United States, on behalf of corporate and high net worth individual clients of the company.
Alonge resigned his employment with Willmotts in 2006, and has since been the Senior Partner/CEO of Nelson Thorpe Alonge (Estate Surveyors & Valuers) where he has led the company’s delivery of property professional services – to clientele that includes Banks, Insurance Companies, Oil & Gas companies, Corporate Organisations, Government Institutions and Asset Management Outfits including Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON.)
Alonge is a Fellow of The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (FNIVS), a Registered Surveyor and Valuer (RSV), Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb), London, member of the Investment Property Forum (IPF) London, and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (F.CIoD). Alonge has attended several professional and general management courses mainly in Europe, USA and Africa.
He is also the CEO of Willows Projects Limited - a multi-disciplinary property development company that has delivered several multi-billion-naira landmark projects in the commercial and residential sectors of the Nigerian real estate industry that include the NDPHC Corporate Headquarters complex, the expansive Barumark Estate and Lakeside Estate, all in Abuja FCT.
He was Vice Chairman of the Estate Surveyors & Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) – the regulatory body for estate surveying and valuation profession in Nigeria and Chairman of its professional practice committee. In that role at the Board, he led the process that brought about the preparation and delivery of first ever Nigeria Valuation Standards, which effectively domesticated the International Valuation Standards (IVS.) The publication of this national standards made Nigeria the first country in Africa to achieve this enviable professional status and it has in no small measure contributed to the domestication of the valuation standards and reporting requirements of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) in Nigeria.
He is a recipient of ‘Outstanding Humanitarian Award’ of the United Nations Commission for the Status of Women (UNCSW) in recognition of his support for gender equality and African women advancement initiatives.
He is a Christian and a committed member of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide where he serves as a member of the Church Management Committee in addition to being a Special Adviser to the Spiritual Head of the church.
He was a member of Nigeria’s Vision 20: 2020.
In October 2025, he bagged the chieftancy title of “Awokose Omoluabi Oodua” from the Ooni of Ife – Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi CFR Ojaja II.
He is happily married and blessed with children.
