He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (FIET), with over 35 years of experience in bidding and execution of projects in various parts of the world. He has accrued this experience primarily working for multinational organisations in a wide variety of roles that include Senior Project Engineer, Technical Team Leader, Technical Project Manager, System Integrator and Architect, Engineering Manager, and Engineering Director of Telecommunications.
As Engineering Manager at Fluor London Underground Connect Project UK, he led a multi-disciplinary team of over 100 engineers in successfully implementing the £375 million accelerated programme for enabling works for the integrated communications system.
As Technical Project Manager of ALSTOM System Business Group - part of the £1 billion consortium constructing a 40Km railways link between Stockholm Central Station and the Arlanda Airport in Sweden (with a 10Km tunnel); he successfully implemented the designs, build and implementation of rolling stock, signalling system, permanent way (overhead power system), telecommunications, and management of all interfaces.

He also worked as Consulting Engineer - LCC, LLC USA: where he was seconded to various client offices and successfully designed cellular mobile networks including GSM frequency planning and quality optimization, traffic forecasting and analysis, supervision and coordination of the deployment and testing of the mobile equipment and system.
As a multi-disciplinary Engineer, he successfully designed, coordinated and implemented the integrated communication systems within the undersea £8 billion Channel Tunnel project linking the UK and France by rail.
He is a Fluor Senior Fellow in Telecommunications Engineering, a Visiting Fellow at the University of Greenwich (2003-2012) and a visiting Research Fellow at the University of Wolverhampton (2015 - to date).
He is passionate about interactive and effective teaching skills, which actively promote, within the organisation and visiting universities, development of quality learning and teaching culture that encourage self-directed learning. Mr. Gabriel Ozique also presents lectures to students on innovative technologies as required by these universities.
