Manchester played host for the second time - to the Annual Gathering of Africa's Best (GAB) Awards recently.
The Manchester edition of the 21st Annual GAB Awards was held at the prestigious Double Tree By Hilton Hotel, Manchester Piccadilly.
Earlier in 2018, the GAB Awards was held in Manchester as part of a vision to further expand Trumpet Media Group and its media channels across North West England. This expansion has seen the birth of Trumpet Manchester which was recently rebranded as Trumpet North West England.
The event was compered by Ms Kemi Olude (Kemiliscious) who held the evening together encouraging audience participation and networking. A brief welcome address was given by Mrs. Chantelle Tindall - Head of Trumpet North West England, whilst the DJ played favourite tunes that got people on their feet.
GAB Awards Founder & CEO - 'Femi Okutubo gave a heartfelt address reiterating the values of Trumpet Media and her goals. He stated the need for communities to engage with the media organisation in helping to promote its image and reach in the North West.

The evening ended with photo shoots, more networking and dance. It was obvious from the reviews given by those who attended, the night was well received. Everyone had a good time and look forward to attending the next event as GAB Awards Manchester looks set to be part of the Manchester social calendar in years to come.
