Patrons of the Gathering of Africa's Best (GAB) Awards have joined in celebrating excellence within the African community.
GAB Awards Patrons: Prem Goyal, Helen Grant MP and Dapo Williams, in separate Goodwill Messages, all extolled the African community and the GAB Awards Finalists for putting Africa on the global map.
As a Patron, it is a privilege to welcome everyone to the 18th Anniversary of the Gathering of Africa’s Best (GAB) Awards, celebrating the fantastic feats achieved by Africa’s most gifted this year.
Since 2013, I have met many inspiring individuals who have made the United Kingdom their home and achieved spectacular things. African communities deserve to have their hard work and contribution recognised. I wish the very best to this year’s nominees and awardees and pray for the award ceremony’s continued growth and success.
Together, we can fulfil our dreams.

The concept behind the Gathering of Africa’s Best Awards sends out an exceptionally positive message about Africa and African People. It also provides enormous inspiration and motivation for others to bring out the best in themselves to achieve, to succeed, and to shine.
Many congratulations to everyone who has been nominated for an award at this year’s event and as a Patron of the GAB awards, I look forward to continuing working with The Trumpet for the promotion of African people all around the globe.
