Bradford celebrates Africa Day

Africans and Friends of Africa in the West Yorkshire region of England converged in Bradford recently to celebrate Africa Day. Hosted by Peacemaker International, the event was supported by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

Founder of Peacemaker International – Mrs Dorcas Olayemi Fagborun MBE and her husband – Dr Joel Fagborun, led a team to give guests a warm welcome. Guests in attendance included the Lord Mayor of Bradford – Cllr. Bev Mullaney.

Peacemaker International Project (PIP) is a humanitarian community-based family-support organisation that provides a wide range of activities for vulnerable people, including the elderly, women, and the unemployed.
