Lebara’s UK customers now able to top-up and check balances on the move
Lebara - one of Europe’s leading mobile telecoms operators for foreign nationals has launched a new mobile site (M-Site) for customers in the UK.
As well as providing high-quality, low cost national and international calling, data and related services, Lebara is now one of the first mobile telecoms operators in the UK to offer its customers the convenience of topping-up direct from their mobile phone and checking their balance.
With 13% of all internet traffic now generated through mobile devices and with more phones than people in the UK currently, it is more important than ever to provide the most convenient tools to meet the customer’s ever evolving needs.

This is why we have developed a mobile site to help customers, by offering the convenience of checking balances on the move as well as topping-up at the touch of a button.

The new Lebara M-Site was developed by Infosys, a global leader in consulting and technology. It is built on the HTML5 platform, making it compatible with all mobile devices, - basic feature phones as well as smartphones and tablets. This means 100% of Lebara customers will benefit from this new service tool; being able to automatically check their balance, or top-up securely using a pre-registered credit card or voucher purchased from one of Lebara’s retail partners. It is even possible to top-up a friend or family member’s phone on their behalf.
Lebara SIM cards and top-ups are available through a wide distribution network of over 100,000 outlets across the UK; including The Carphone Warehouse, Phones4U, Asda, Tesco and WHSmith. As well as market-leading national and international rates for talking, texting and mobile internet, Lebara offers award-winning customer service, and high network quality through its Vodafone partnership in the UK.
